What should I bring to my first appointment?
Your valid health insurance card and a list of your up-to-date medications.
If you have previously undergone additional tests (CT scan, MRI, electroencephalogram, electromyogram), bring the written results of your tests and the disc with the images of your radiological exams.
How do I cancel my appointment at the clinic?
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call as soon as possible at
450-672-1931 and dial extension 232.
It is important to include the following information in your message:
- Full name of the patient
- Patient's date of birth
- Date and time of the appointment
- Reason for cancellation
PLEASE NOTE THAT FEES MAY APPLY FOR ABSENCES OR CANCELLATIONS WITH LESS THAN 24 HOURS NOTICE.
How should I prepare for my EMG test?
You can eat and drink and take your usual medications. Avoid applying cream on your body and limbs as it may make the examination more difficult and less accurate. It is also advisable to wear clothing that allows easy examination of the affected limb. It's good to come to your appointment with the results of your most recent additional tests. Bring a written list of your medications. It is not necessary to come accompanied.
Are we a private clinic?
We are not a private clinic. You must present your health insurance card at each visit.
Once my consultation request has been sent:
- Each request is evaluated by a neurologist.
- We cannot provide any timeframe for obtaining an appointment.
- We are not an emergency clinic.
- Only requests sent by email receive a confirmation of receipt.
It is possible, depending on our capacity, that your consultation request may be referred back to your referring physician (for example, if you are outside the usual geographic coverage area of the clinic or if our capacity is exceeded for certain pathologies).
